Sermorelin
Overview
Sermorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) consisting of the first 29 amino acids of human GHRH. Research has examined sermorelin for its ability to stimulate growth hormone secretion through the GHRH receptor pathway.
Clinical research has investigated sermorelin in relation to growth hormone secretion and growth hormone deficiency, including studies involving pediatric growth disorders. Sermorelin has also been studied in other experimental settings involving the growth hormone/IGF-1 axis.
