Kisspeptin-10
Overview
Kisspeptin-10 is a biologically active peptide fragment of the kisspeptin family that has been studied extensively in relation to reproductive hormone signaling. Research has examined Kisspeptin-10 for its effects on gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and reproductive function.
Experimental and human research has investigated Kisspeptin-10 in relation to the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, testosterone and other reproductive hormones, sexual behavior, and reproductive physiology. Findings should be interpreted according to the study population, experimental conditions, route of administration, and specific endpoints being measured.
